We are SO excited to share that we are going to be able to meet back in person this fall 2021 (as well as be offering a virtual evening option)!! 

This fall we will have two ways to participate in MOPS: 
  • In-person on select Friday mornings from 9:00-11:30am, resuming our amazing in-person programming, or
  • Virtually via Zoom on select Thursday evenings from 7:45pm-9:00pm to accommodate working moms, and families who are high risk or not yet ready to do in-person programming! 
  • Both groups will meet late September-early May approximately 2x/mo with breaks for holidays and school vacations.

Meeting Options for 2021-2022:

The MOPS 2021-2022 season runs from September 2021 through early May 2022.

In-Person daytime

We are excited to be offering both in-person daytime and virtual evening options for MOPS this year! In-person MOPS Meetings will take place on Friday mornings from 9:00-11:30am. 

In-Person Meeting Dates: Sept 17th, Oct 1st & 15th, Nov 5th & 19th, Dec 10th, Jan 21st, Feb 4th & 18th, Mar 4th & 18th, Apr 1st & 22nd, and May 6th.*

Due to the Delta Variant, we will meet outdoors under a tent on the SBPC Campus for in-person meetings on Friday mornings. The SBPC campus is mask-friendly, but masks are not required outdoors.*

*Dates and mask guidelines are subject to change based on SBPC approval, church policies, local and state mandates, and MOPS Leadership decisions as we watch numbers and CDC recommendations.

Virtual evening

We will also be offering a virtual option on Thursday nights from 7:45pm-9:00pm for working moms and families who may be high risk or who are not yet ready to return in-person programming.

Virtual Table Dates: Sept 23rd, Oct 14th & 28th. Nov 18th, Dec 2nd & 16th, Jan 27th, Feb 10h, Mar 3rd, 17th & 31st, Apr 14th & 28th, and May 12th

For those that choose to meet remotely on Thursday nights, please note that there will be no MOPPETS /children’s program at this time. Don’t worry, we know kids may pop into the zoom frame or be running around in the background. We are all moms here, and that’s what the mute button was made for!

Meetings will take place on zoom as a large group and then “tables” will be split into smaller breakout groups for discussion. 


MOPPETS Children’s Program Information

The MOPPETS Program is currently available for children 2 years (by 9/17/21) and older. We are doing our best to hire to be able to offer care. Please note, childcare will not be offered for virtual tables in the evening regardless of hiring.

Children are lovingly cared for in our MOPPETS Children’s Program on Friday mornings which includes structured time for kids 2 years & older where they sing songs, hear Bible stories, make crafts, enjoy free play, and more! Childcare is not available in the evenings.

Due to varying childcare needs, MOPPETS registration will be done on a semester basis to allow new children to add mid-year. All moms will be required to re-register children in November for the spring semester.

Space is extremely limited in MOPPETS Children’s Program this year. We know some of you cannot participate without MOPPETS childcare, while others may prefer to put your kids in MOPPETS, but have alternate childcare options such as preschool, a babysitter/nanny, family/friends, etc. If this is the case, and you are willing to help make space for other moms who don’t have access to alternate options, please do so this year. Thank you for exploring alternate options to help us welcome as many moms as possible!

As we relaunch MOPPETS, children 2 years and older will be required to wear masks when indoors (as will all adults entering the Children’s Building). We have done upgrades to the HVAC system, will take temperatures at drop off, and have everyone wash their hands before entering the classrooms. All volunteers will be required to be vaccinated. Kids will spend as much time outdoors as possible (at least half the morning, if not more), where they can get fresh air and where masks will be optional for those who need a “mask break.” All high touch surfaces and toys are receiving increased sanitization.

Annual Dues Upon Full Registration

Annual Mom Dues are $135 for in-person and $100 for virtual programming and include materials from MOPS Int’l. Since we will be registering by semester this year due to COVID, your first semester will be $85 and your second semester will be $50 if you are registering for in-person and each semester will be $50 if you are participating virtually. In order to support one another and keep dues affordable, MOPS members will bring and serve food for brunch 3 times over the course of the year and serve in our MOPPETS Children’s Program for half a meeting each semester on a rotational basis (the later is on hold for fall due to COVID, but may resume in the spring depending on numbers). By registering for our program, you agree to participate in supporting your fellow moms in these practical ways. While we are unable to offer MOPPETS at this time, if and when we are able to open it up, MOPPETS semester dues are $65 for the first child, $55 for the second child, and the third child is free.

Payment plans and partial scholarships are available. Both require an initial payment of $40 per mom and $20 per child (if/when MOPPETS reopens) when officially registering. If you would like to request a scholarship or payment plan, please email Kelly Thompson at sbpcmopsfinance@gmail.com and include the amount you are asking be covered in scholarship if you need assistance with dues. Those that select a payment plan should plan to pay the remainder of their dues by October 15th, 2021.

We recognize sometimes plans and circumstances can change; however, please note $40 is non-refundable as it goes toward your MOPS Int’l Dues and online credit card fees. You can get a refund for the remaining amount if you drop before September 8th, 2021. Refunds will be assessed on a case by case basis after that date. Questions or need to drop? Should you find that our registration is full, you are encouraged to register for our waitlist.  As we are able, moms will be moved from the waitlist to active registration.

You will not be charged until you are moved to active registration.
