The MOPS 2020-2021 season runs from September 2020 through early May 2021. Our meeting dates are: September 17/18, October 1/2, October 15/16, October 29/30, November 12/13, December 3/4, January 22, February 5 & 26, March 12 & 26, April 16 & 30, and May 14.
Due to the uncertainty of this season with COVID-19 and our hope to possibly gather together in-person as a group as the year goes on, we are registering for the fall semester only. We will be meeting remotely to start and are, unfortunately, unable to hold a children’s program at this time. In order to best meet moms’ needs, with the likelihood of having littles and even potentially school-aged kids home this fall, we will offer both a Thursday evening (7:30-8:45pm) and a Friday morning group (10:00-11:15am). Don’t worry, we know kids may pop into the zoom frame or be running around in the background. We are all moms here, and that’s what the mute button was made for!
Meetings will take place on zoom as a large group and then “tables” will be split into smaller breakout groups for discussion. All groups should plan to start virtually; however, there is a registration option to either stay virtual or transition to meeting in person once state/county guidelines and church policy allow (gatherings would be by “table,” socially distanced with masks required in either a table members yard or outdoors on the church campus).
Fall dues will be $50. Part of your dues pay for your MOPS International membership (including your subscription to the MOPS Magazine), as well as cover credit card fees, all of which are non-refundable. Refunds for the remainder of MOPS dues will be available until Aug 31st. After Aug 31st, all requested refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be pro-rated. By registering for our program, you agree to participate in the MOPS mom community, attending meetings regularly, and supporting your fellow moms in these practical ways.
We recognize many families are hurting right now and want to make sure MOPS is affordable to all moms. As such, payment plans and partial scholarships are available. We ask all moms who are able, to make an initial payment of $25 upon registering. Our Finance Team Lead will be in touch regarding further payments or scholarship needs. Remaining payments for payment plans will be due September 15th (unless otherwise arranged). Please note that you are not registered until your required dues are paid in full or you have an approved partial scholarship.
Should you find that our registration is full, you are encouraged to register for our waitlist. As we are able, moms will be moved from the waitlist to active registration.
You will not be charged until you are moved to active registration.
