“Practical Ways to Keep Your Children Safe”. Wendy and her husband, who is now deceased, were directors of the San Diego Burn Institue. She is a mother of two college students and retired while her kids were in high school to volunteer and be more involved in their lives. Mentor Mom, Nancy Garrett, had Wendy’s daughter, who just graduated from high school, in the first grade.
