Cookies & Cocktails – Moms Night Out

The tree is trimmed, the halls are decked,
for a holiday party you’ll never forget!

Please join us for some holly jolly cocktails as we toast to Christmas Cheer and the coming New Year!

Be prepared for a cookie swap…bring two dozen of your favorite homemade goodies to exchange. Don’t forget to also bring a container to take your new goodies home in.

Operation Christmas Child- Due Nov. 18

For information on packing a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child click here. There is also information available about how to track your box and learn more about the country where it goes which is a great way to help your kids understand the impact of their giving. Bring your boxes to MOPS by November 18th, the Holiday Boutique.

SBPC- Thanksgiving Eve Service

November 23, 2011 – 6:30 pm
Start your Thanksgiving holiday giving praise and thanksgiving to God at this Thanksgiving Worship Service with communion in the sanctuary. Celebrate with reflections by high school students and music by the chancel choir, worship band, and organ.

SBPC Women’s “A Cup of Christmas Tea”- Dec. 10

Join us for a morning of refreshment, relationship, and inspiration. Saturday, December 10th – 10:00am-noon
“A Cup of Christmas Tea”
Find a chair, take a deep breath, take a sip of tea and enjoy a wonderful morning with women from all walks of life. This year’s speaker from our own church community, Carole Stabler, will share with us glimpses of how Christ has brought her through various chapters of her own life in her talk, titled: “Life is too short for long poems.”

This is the perfect event to bring along your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers or any other woman in your life who might enjoy a break from the Christmas rush and a chance to hear the true message of Christmas. A delicious brunch tea will be served, catered by our own Lara Pauley. Bring a teacup with you to enjoy your tea with – even better, bring a teacup with a story!

Mom’s Nite Out- Nov. 17

7-9 PM at Wine Steals in Cardiff.

Picnic Lunch Playdate- Nov. 16

Come join us at San Deiguito Park on November 16th at 10 AM- 2PM. Pack a picnic and meet at Lower San Dieguito Park. There is lots of space to run around and play in the leaves, look at the ducks in the pond, and enjoy lunch with the other MOPS moms and kids!
Bring your lunch and a ball/fun toys to play with in the grassy field. And don’t forget your camera! :)
